Howto: Connect to exchange from Mac Mail
Describes how to connect to the exchange server using mac mail.
Assumptions:
You must be running Mac OS X (10.5.x) for these steps to work. Please consult with the IT Helpdesk for help with doing this. Note: If you already have an account setup for Exchange, it will not allow you to add another one.
The procedure:
- Open mac mail.
- Choose preferences from the "Mail" menu.
- Click the Accounts item in the dialog box.
- Click the + sign at the bottom left to create a new account.
- Fill the full name, email address and password as prompted.
- Select "Exchange" as the account type.
- Use ekumail.eku.edu as the incoming mail server.
- Use ekumail.eku.edu as the outgoing mail server (check the SSL box).
- Use ekumail.eku.edu as the Outlook Web Access Server.
