Banner Printer Supported List
List of printers that are known to work (or not work) with Banner.
Please check this list before purchasing a printer that you intend to use with Banner. In general, printers must have a network port and must support PCL printing. You may ask your vendor this question or consult with it.systems@eku.edu to make sure the printer you want to purchase will work with Banner as you need.
Current Banner "Best" Choice Printer: Lexmark Optra T652dn (does duplexing as well)
Printers Known to Work
- Lexmark Optra S Series (include SC and Se)
- Lexmark Optra N Series
- Lexmark Optra T Series
- Lexmark Optra M Series
- Lexmark C series (excludes C500)
- Kyocera Campus Printer/Copiers (some issues, but generally work)
- HP LaserJet (4500,4000,4si,5si,8100,4+,4,3) - not all Banner options work on these printers - email if you have questions.
- HP Color LaserJet (2500) - not all Banner options work on these printers - email if you have questions.
Printers Known not to Work
- Lexmark C500
- Lexmark Multifunction printers
- Lexmark Optra E (does not work with Cares reports, other jobs may work)
- Lexmark X500
- Lexmark X502
